A Message from Focus on the Future’s Founder

Dr. Brenda M. Batts
After accumulating more than 20 years of successful training and consulting with thousands of private clients, public school districts, and Education Service Centers, Focus Special Education, LLC opened a new private school in August 2006, Focus on the Future Training Center. We integrate Speech Therapy and other therapeutic approaches in every part of our curriculum to help your child bridge their deficits in communication and social skills building. We believe that catering to your child’s learning style is critical to their success in school. Simply put, our priority is developing and delivering independence skills training that will help your child reach their full potential.
Our strategy is to offer specialized training designed to help children with special needs better adapt to our society. Without specialized intervention and training, our society is often times too complex and confusing for your special needs child to function in ways that are considered socially acceptable.
