One passion for excellence, many techniques

W

e believe that no single therapy or training technique can meet the needs of all special needs children. Nor does one curriculum fit all. Therefore, we carefully evaluate each child to determine which therapy or training technique they respond to best. So our school can use a battery of techniques to yield the very best results for your child.

We also believe that parents & guardians play a vital role in maximizing the degree and rate of progress in their children’s social and academic development. This result can be achieved by parents working closely with their children’s teachers to reinforce certain techniques in their children’s’ home and community environments that are learned in the classroom and school environment. We must work together as a team for the benefit of our special children.

  • “It is not enough to prepare our children for the world: we must prepare the world for our children.”
  • “With neurotypical children, our job as parents and educators is to walk behind our children to support them….with special-needs children, our job is to walk a couple of steps ahead of them to pave the way.”
  • “When we teach with purpose, passion, and significance, our children learn with perseverance, proficiency, and success.” -Brenda Batts.
